He coaches CEOs, senior executives and business owners on a full range of strategic and organizational issues to create sustainable value and superior performance. As a managing partner and founder, Vincent’s focus is building trusted customer relations and the ongoing development and growth of Productwings.

Work experience

After a short but exciting side trip into the wine industry, Vincent spent all his professional life at international software companies focusing on product strategy and product management. During the last 13 years of his career, Vincent served as CTO of Automic Software, where he concentrated on developing and implementing Automic’s worldwide product strategy.

Vincent holds a master’s degree in Technical Mathematics from the Vienna University of Technology.

Private life

Vincent and his family live in a small town in the Upper Austrian lake district. He loves mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing and traveling around the globe.

Martin Salzl

“Requirements engineering can be done in an ivory tower or you can go out and ask people what they really need.” – Following the mission that it’s all about the people, Martin develops a business analysis process that focuses on the involvement of stakeholders, asking the right questions and doing a proper ranking of requirements. Coming from the developer world, another focal point for Martin is the collaboration with engineering teams in an agile environment.

Work experience

After a few stints as a developer and as a self-employed web designer, Martin held several positions as a product manager at a number of respected Austrian IT companies. Martin was head of the Technical Product Management department at Automic Software for several years, establishing a new PM process that fit the needs of the development of complex enterprise software in a distributed team setup. Martin is a certified professional in requirements engineering and software architecture.

Private life

Martin lives in Vienna. He loves spending time with his family and is a passionate musician.

Hannes Kieberger

“Before software can be reusable it first has to be usable.” (Ralph Johnson) – At Productwings, Hannes focuses on the area of research and development. He seamlessly moves between agile, traditional and hybrid methodologies and helps clients to advance their software development approaches and engineering practices. He also concentrates on solution architecture as well as sourcing, shoring and collaboration models – always with a focus on the individual organizational context and the overarching product strategy.

Work experience

Hannes is a 20-year veteran in the IT industry. He has served in many different capacities, from software developer in the early days to executive positions leading a multitude of global teams of technologists. Having spent half of his career in the U.S. and a number of countries across Europe, he brings a deep understanding of the complexities of developing first-class software in geographically and organizationally dispersed environments.

He holds a master’s degree in Business Informatics from the Vienna University of Technology and is a Certified ScrumMaster®.

Private life

Hannes is married and is a father of twin boys. He lives in Vienna, loves spending time with his family and is enthusiastic about traveling, skiing, playing basketball, interior design and Austrian wine.

Bernhard Burger

“Quality is not negotiable” – Bernhard focuses on all areas influencing and promoting the quality of products and services. This includes Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering, Quality Assurance & Testing, Processes and Quality Organizations. He trains and coaches managers and professionals and helps building up suitable and effective organizations and processes.

Work experience

Bernhard works for nearly two decades in the IT sector. He has held leading positions in the areas of financial services, telecom and software development. In recent years he successfully built up international quality organizations and focused on their professional growth and effectivity. In 2014 he founded Quality Advantage, a consultancy focused at the idea of the quality over the whole lifecycle.

He is an active member of the SW quality community and regularly speaks and moderates at software quality conferences and events.

Private life

Bernhard and his wife live on a farm in Lower Austria. He loves good food (especially when cooked by himself), travelling (best with his cameras), astronomy (above 0 degree centigrade) and photography.
